Description Meet round the corner from Merrie England.

Delivering leaflets, canvassing people’s views and voting intention.

We are defending our Cllr’s seat at the next local elections which is a close marginal between Lib Dems. We have recently been put under pressure by a big local issue so though any sort of help is always appreciated by us it will be even more appreciated if you come along to this!

Food will be provided.

Hope to see you on Saturday.

Marsdon HCF Action Day

First of all we are sorry to those who do not have Facebook and look at our site for updates which we have neglected for some time!

We had a terrific day helping the Colne Valley Candidate Jason McCartney Today with leafleting, canvassing people’s views locally/nationally and who they will be voting for at the next General Election with the majority being Conservative! The free food and drinks was terrific to!

We would like to thank all those who gave up their time to help. Your help is always appreciated!

If anyone would like to get involved in someway with what we do or would like further information then please feel free to contact Phillip at chairman@yorkshirecf.com

Thanks

Freshers Fayre & Meal

The Freshers’ Fayre for Huddersfield University is on Thursday 24th September from 11am-5pm outside the Student Union, although we will be setting up the stall the previous evening and are seeking volunteers to assist with that task. There will be a meal that evening at Ciao Bella, opposite Huddersfield Railway Station with cocktails at Zen before. This is our main opportunity to recruit new members and retrieve the lapsed, so please do make the effort to come support us, no matter for how short a time. If Huddersfield CF is to exist as a society in its own right rather than as a subsidiary campaigning arm of the Party, then a strong membership base is vital. Membership forms are now being included with candidates’ literature when canvassing, but we must make the effort to engage students and young people in our area in order that we are able fully to realise our aims.

For More Information on the Meal and Cocktails please see the ”Events” Page.

Yorkshire CF Visit London

Yorkshire CF Visiting House of Commons

This week Yorkshire CF visited London on a trip organised by Regional Chairman Philip Smith.

The tour included visiting the tower of London, a tour of the Taxpayers Alliance, a meal at the Carlton club with National Chairman Michael Rock, a tour of the House of Commons, watching PMQs and a question and answer session with Yorkshire Tory MPs Robert Goodwill, David Curry and Graham Stuart!

From the looks of the photos it looks like they all had a fantastic time! We strongly encourage all Regions to be pro-active and organise visits for CF members; they are always a lot of fun and a rewarding time!

Well done to Philip and his team!

Welcome to Huddersfield CF

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at our website.

It’s a very exciting time to be involved in politics with the world gripped by Obama and back home the Country demanding change.

We are currently looking for people that are interested in getting involved with Huddersfield CF. If your one of them then please get in touch.

Conservatives win Temple Newsam in Leeds!

Huddersfield Conservative Future would like to congratulate David Schofield, our by-election candidate, for his excellent win in Temple Newsam!

Numbers are as follows:

TN

This by-election was triggered by the resignation of Labour Councillor Jackie Langdale, who won the seat in 2007. For Labour be beaten into third place after the BNP, only 8 votes above the Liberal Democrats, will come as a huge blow to their efforts in the area.
